That EU / US 'deal', or call it framework agreement, will cost VdL her job, it's an absolute terrible deal (15% tarriffs are paid by U.S consumers..), as mentioned yesterday it's just 'Pie in the sky', Great headline for Trump .. >>> It’s a ‘pledge’ with no legally binding enforceable mechanism, even on energy there is NO way EU can get even close to 600bn, anyway they already arew buying some LNG.., make what u wish of it - yesterdays price action was ''buy runour and sell the fact'' >> totally overhyped, U.S chose a tax, RoW hasn't, Trump calls it a win..U.S pays it not RoW, and various investment are largely rubbish (including JPN ones..)
Markets : EURO took a clear turn softer on this great VdL 'deal' - usd bid into month end, risk holding up well, DAX yesterday though didn't digest the deal too well (no drama though, yet anyway), Putin will be under pressure very shortly (new santions coming, PALL, Crude..), QRA details tomorrow morning pretty key for markets (UST curve etc and USD),
